Wood Earrings by Sarah Wonson
Sarah Wonson is an artist from Rockport, MA.
She specializes in composing pieces of wood, carefully cut and sanded, into sophisticated everyday works of art. Cherry, cedar, maple, and black walnut from Cape Ann are her primary materials. An avid Gardner, Sarah’s jewelry is also made of shrub wood, such as rhododendron, taxis, arborvitae, blueberry and lilac. A few of her inspirations from nature are the shapes of leaves, the movement of wings, and the auditory expressions of rocks and shells.
